Alan Jeffries is a counter-surveillance and digital forensics practitioner based in Hong Kong, practising since 1992. ## Expert evidence

Where matters require opinion evidence, reports are prepared in line with the Rules of the High Court (Order 38) and the Code of Conduct for Expert Witnesses, with the expert's overriding duty to the court paramount.
